The SureFlap Microchip Pet Door is designed for large cats and small dogs. It reads their existing microchip (or for unmicrochipped pets, Can be used with SureFlap RFID Pet Collar Tags), unlocking only for your pet and leaving intruder animals at the door.
Curfew mode allows you to set lock and unlock times and keep pets inside at certain times of day. Stores up to 32 pets. To fit through the pet door, your pet's shoulders should ideally be no wider than 170mm and the circumference of their waistline at its widest point should be no more than 518mm.

Brilliant
This is brilliant. I had to put it in the wall, which meant a little tunnel for the cat to go through and the locks make quite a noise retracting when the microchip is recognised, but he cracked it within three hours. NB, if you have a toughened double-glazed door the whole thing has to be reglazed as you can't cut a hole in the existing door; in my case the wall was a much cheaper option and you can buy tunnel extensions to avoid the need to make good the interior of the tunnel so that it's comfortable for the cat. You can set various modes to keep the cat in at night etc and if you have any questions Sureflap customer service is excellent. I love it (so does the cat) and will be getting another when I move home before long.

Excellent product!
This product is excellent, it was easy to set up and keeps the neighbour's cat out of our house. I originally bought the microchip cat flap but found this rather small for my Birmans so the pet door is a much better size.

I've had one of these for 8 years, never had any problems, batteries last a very long time. Great product!

Good for small dogs
Easy to fit, it took about an hour to fit in a UPVC door. Works well, we have a sporting lucas terrier and a bichon frise both love it. The terrier's chip is in its rump so have to have the tag on his collar to make it reliable. (cant teach him to go through backwards.) My wife's cat also uses it. The best bit is, no more being woken up at 5AM by the dogs so they can go out.

Great for large cats
Bought this for our new rescue cat, as he is a big boy and our old flap looked a bit tight! This is a very high quality product, with comprehensive detailed instructions, which made it easy to fit and it looks great. Use procedure to program unit with cats microchip before you fit it in the door.Expensive, but shop around for the best price varies between £80-120.

Really good cat flap
Cat has got used to using the cat flap really quickly. Great that it only lets our cat into the house, but we are really glad we went for the bigger size as I think he would have struggled to get through the smaller one even though he's not a fat cat. Overall really pleased.

Bonne qualité , programmation très simple , reconnaissance de la puce sans problème , le plus difficile , acclimatation du chat , le mien à 7 ans et du caractère , mais avec un peu de patience et une démarche progressive ( tunnel ouvert , aide à l'ouverture ) après un mois les habitudes sont prises

Excellent, far better than alternatives we have tried
I think this cat flap is excellent, we have had 3 other cat flaps from other manufacturers with microchip/timer facilities and have sent them all back due to malfunctioning. So far and fingers crossed we have had no issues with this one. It opens as soon as the cat comes near, no multiple pushing to get it to open. Next doors large tabby is left outside looking sad as he can no longer get in and eat their food!. One of my cats has never used any other cat flap, but loves this one. As for this website it was quick delivery and no issues either.
