Thrive Complete Kitten Chicken Breast is cooked in a chicken broth with added vitamins and minerals to give your kitten a complete nutritionally balanced meal. This means that our food provides everything your kitten needs and can be fed on its own or mixed with dry food, depending on your kitten's preference.
Cats are strict carnivores and have no dietary need for carbohydrates such as grains (e.g rice or wheat). Therefore, our kitten wet food is protein-focused and grain-free, with only 0.2% carbohydrate content.
Good hydration is vital to a healthy kitten, so this food is formulated with 'free liquid' water for optimum hydration, instead of artificial gelling agents.

Cats gave it a "paws down"
I thought it looked and smelled good, but the cats did not agree - but they are fussy little beggars: cute but spoiled.

Fantastic food, especially for sensitive tummies
This food is brilliant, our 4 month old kitten absolutely loves it and I feel really happy giving it to him because it is essentially just meat and the minerals he needs. It is a shredded chicken consistency in broth. We have had some problems with an upset tummy (he also had a parasite unfortunately, poor little thing: all better now) and so it's really, really important to me to try and get him on something that stabilises him. Thrive does the job, and he absolutely loves it as well. The taste and texture have made it easy to give him his medicine in it when he has needed as well (liquid, also powder). It is a complete food which is really important for growing kittens. The adult versions are fine for kittens as well, with similar compositions (the adult version actually has more protein, but this is fine). So he has also had the chicken & chicken liver which he adores, for a bit of variety. A lot of foods contain vegetables or grains which cats can't really digest. Sometimes the effect is quite pronounced, quite quickly. So those foods don't fill cats up as much (although they are cheaper). So when you a high protein, no-nonsense food, you don't need to give as much, and you know that all of what you feed them is used by them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Thrive for growing kittens :)
