Deworming frequency:
Veterinary experts recommend deworming dogs at least every 3 months. However, more frequent treatment may be recommended depending on the dog’s age and lifestyle:
- For dogs living with children, pregnant women and older people – deworm monthly
- For weaned puppies up to six months of age – deworm monthly
- For a dog that has had a flea infestation – treat for tapeworms
