To protect your pet and your home from fleas, you need to break their life cycle - and that means treating your home as well as your pet. A household insecticide spray, Indorex kills adult fleas whilst also preventing development of their eggs and larvae. Acting on contact, not by ingestion, it kills adult fleas for two months and will protect your home from developing flea eggs and larvae for up to 12 months. It also kills house dust mites - a common allergen involved in allergic skin conditions in dogs.

As a guide, one can of Indorex will protect 79 sq metres, the equivalent of an average 3 bed home.

  • It is to be sprayed directly onto carpets, rugs, flooring, skirting boards and other potential flea hideouts
  • Effective against adult fleas, larvae and eggs in the home environment
This product should never be applied directly to animals.
  • Permethrin (rapidly kills adult fleas), Pyripoxyfen (insect growth regulator) and piperonyl butoxide (reinforces the action of permethrin).

Follow the enclosed instructions carefully for correct application
It is to be sprayed directly onto carpets, rugs, flooring, skirting boards and other potential flea hideouts
Care should be taken to treat all carpets and rugs, skirting boards and tiles, paying particular attention to any cracks and crevices
Regular vacuuming is important to ensure maximum effeciveness of the product
Indorex Household Spray will interupt the life cycle of the flea but you may see residual adult fleas appearing. This is because - like all insecticides - it is unable to kill off the pupa stage. Aggressive vacuum cleaning for 7 consecutive days will encourage the pupae to hatch and these can be physically removed by the vacuum cleaner.

    Best flea killer

Posted by Deborah 1 on 5th Oct 2018

Bought this item because the frontline that I was using on my cats wasn’t working and I didn’t want to get a flea infestation. One of my cats had 20 fleas on her (this was with her spot on) that I removed and every night I would use a comb on her to get rid of these pests. So I did what the can said and it’s been great I treated her bed and she sleeps every night in it so when she came in from the garden I combed her and last night found 1! removed it,I’m sure if she had of slept in her bed that would have been dead this morning. Absolutely great product and if your worry about fleas in the home this will do the job. Even flies that come through the door die. 100% satisfied With is product. I’m that happy that I’m going to stop put deadly chemicals on my cats and use this instead

Brought this few weeks ago. I have three dogs, used in house & car upholstery. Brought a few to do all house. Took about a week to see any different with regular vacuuming. I think it worked well and able to use on carpets etc all fine. Would purchase again. Twice the price elsewhere.

You need more than description prescribes

In a two bed house with carpet everywhere (a pet mom's worst nightmare), you would need at least two of these to properly treat the carpet, mattresses and all corners and edges. After hoovering EVERYWHERE and getting EVERYTHING of it's place and then spraying, it should work. I first did a half job, just keeping furniture in it's place and not hoovering along the edges (we also had moving boxes everywhere) and then spraying the house with one tin; it didn't work as well. Fleas were still seen, they were slow, not dead. So, I ordered two new tins, did a deep clean, room by room and put all the boxes in a space that was treated properly first, emptied two tins throughout the whole house and it looks like it has worked better.

    bad news for fleas

My cat obviously had fleas. I didn't see any, but he kept scratching and his skin was full of scabs. I used this on his bedding and all the places he goes in the house, and within a few days there was an improvement, and he seems now to be clear of the fleas. In future, in summer, I will use this as a deterrent before the fleas become a real problem.

    Excellent product

I have been using this for years since a vet recommended it for my cat with very sensitive skin. I spray the house once a year and it keeps her skin happy and health of possible dust mites. I know it works amazing as I did not do it annually this year and her skin started to break out and once I had sprayed the house and her sleeping spots her skin cleared up in a matter of days.

We didn't have a massive flea problem but I did keep seeing the odd flea and getting bitten! I bought this based on other reviews and haven't seen a flea or been bitten since! Did 3 bedrooms and our sofas and mattresses. Was plenty in the can as long as you follow instructions - people who say there's not enough must be overusing this. Would buy again if ever needed!
