Zylkene is a natural product that helps your dog or cat feel less stressed and return to their normal happy selves.

How it works:

Zylkene contains a natural product derived from a protein found in milk and works to calm your pet when they are feeling stressed or worried. The ingredients soothe their brain receptors, helping them to feel less stressed.

The Zyklene powder is packed into capsules which can be fed whole. If your pet refuses to swallow pills you can still give them this treatment. Simply open up the capsule and mix the powder in with your pet's food – they won’t even notice it’s there! It is designed to be fed to your pet once a day with a meal or treat.

Since Zylkene is a natural product that has little to no known side effects, you can feed it to your pet for as long as they need it. It can be given for short-term stress, possibly related to changes such as a house move or unfamiliar visitors. Or if your pet is adjusting to a more permanent change of circumstances (like being left alone during the day) they can be given Zylkene for longer periods until they settle down.

When to use it:

Animals react to stress in different ways, so it's important to learn how to spot the signs of it in your pet. Is your cat withdrawn or does she run away and hide? Is your dog more grumpy or being naughty? In scary or unfamiliar situations, pets can show that they are feeling stressed through bad or unusual behaviour.

If the cause of stress is temporary (such as a new visitor in your home or loud building work taking place) your pet will often return to normal once the problem’s removed. However, permanent changes such as a change in their routine or a new pet in the house might need you to take further action to reassure your pet.

  • Created from a natural product found in milk protein
  • Can be mixed with your pet's food for easy feeding
  • Designed to be given once a day either short or long-term

It seems to work. It takes the edge off his energy just enough to be able to get his attention and manage him with voice commands and reassurance. Have had no side effects and he does not seem to get drowsy with it. As he continues to get calmer in the car I have used it less often. All in all wort

This did nothing for my dog. Started capsules in correct dose 5 days before fireworks started but had no effect at all. Vet recommened same product but no result.

I have a two year old male who is on the small side. Purchased this for firework night. Tested it this evening to gauge it's effect. Mixed one capsule into his food. He ate everything. He became agitated and jumpy, running around at high speed, climbing up on things he normally isn't interested in, attacking my hand when I tried to stroke him. Totally out of character. When he sits still for 5 minutes his eyes roll into back of his head, but is panicky at every sound.

Absolute and total failure. Tried my Yorkie cross dog on this for 10 days (at the correct dosage) and it made absolutely no difference at all. Total waste of money.

This product goes one step further to calming our 17 yr old cat due to the introduction of an ex-stray to the household, who although is submissive by nature, was causing the older alpha cat to become stressed. On top of using pheromone diffusers, which do help, have found that Zylkene definitely contributes to the older cat being even move relaxed. I can say that because we have tried the diffusers with and without Zylkene and have noticed the difference once Zylkene was re-introduced.

My 12 year old poodle was displaying excessive stress at separation barking and yelping as well as destructive behaviour in the home. My vet recommended zylkene and he has calmed down incredibly well, clearly feeling much calmer and happier when being left. Highly recommend and hope the product work

My 10 year old cat started showing stress over territorial issues in the form of aggression toward me, quite scary. My vet gave me these and it has turned him back to the happy, affectionate cat that I know and love. It's not a sedative, it just helps them feel safe. Best thing ever.

systems. It also helps to keep them calmer when it comes to noises as we stay in static caravans. I also give it to them both around fireworks night, I just start it a week before then. It is expensive in comparison to other methods but I can't praise it highly enough
