5 Smells like proper food
Posted by coltieLC on 25th Apr 2018
We have always fed our dogs Burns original biscuits but my terrier is very old now and finds it hard to eat the biscuits, so we tried the Burns Penlan Farm Lamb, Rice & vegetables which is nothing like the other soft cooked dog food products on the market. It actually smells quite nice and you can see the real food in it. My dog loves this product and can't wait for her next meal.

5 Real Food For Real Dogs!
Posted by Jess Dog on 22nd Feb 2018
My border collie is 10 years old and I changed her to Burns a couple of years ago as she was getting a bit porky; had developed fatty lumps and also has arthritis (the latter is being successfully controlled by adding turmeric golden paste to feeds.) Had a lot of useful advice from the Burns people about diet and weight. She loves all varieties and I love it because it doesn’t have any “nasties” in it. It’s not cheap but I think it’s probably the best dog food on the market and is doing an excellent job of keeping her healthy and happy.

5 Excellent dog food
Posted by Dinx on 11th Jan 2018
I've been feeding Burns pouches to my 11 year old Border since she was a youngster. She had some digestive issues and since introducing Burns wet food she has been fine. Not the cheapest but in my opinion worth the extra money.

5 REMINDS ME OF MY MUM'S LAMB STEW
Posted by charleyfarley on 14th Nov 2017
We were recommended Burns pork and potato by our vet as our dog seems to have a bad reaction to poultry dishes. Thought we would try the lamb and rice for a change especially if we are out for the day as the pouch is so easy to open. The content looks delicious and needless to say our dog adores it. Every time I open a packet, I'm almost tempted to try it - lovely little pieces of lamb and carrot mixed with a bit of rice and a little jelly/juice to keep it moist. Reminds me of cold winter nights many many years ago!!

My dog is healthy, happy and bright-eyed. I've fed him on John Burns varieties for the last four years, and I am confident of the quality of this nutritious and balanced food for dogs.
